Science - Super Soaker Challenge and Wildlife Club
Super Soaker Challenge
The Science department has been out visiting all the partner primary schools to launch the “Super Soaker Challenge”. Primary schools are competing to create a new “Super Soaker”. The final will be held in the main hall in the summer when there will be a massive water fight between all the schools, teachers included.
Mr Roles is quoted saying “I am really excited to see the finished Super Soakers and had an amazing few days visiting the primary schools. The pupils were excellent throughout”.
This is the first of what is set to become an annual Science challenge with year 6 pupils from the primary schools. We are yet to decide who is having more fun Mr Williams and Mr Roles or the year 6 pupils.
The Science departments Wildlife Club has been going from strength to strength this year. The club has made birdfeeders and helped raise money during school events as well as taking very good care of all the animals in the schools. We are extremely grateful to Mr Swatton for all the help making and running Wildlife Club.
