Girls Sports fixtures

Year10/11 Netball Vs Croesyceiliog 20.11.18 - Our first match of the season and a great game. The full, selection of players performed to a great standard and represented themselves and the school in a extremely positive and inspirational manner. Summer Chick was selected by the opposition as their player of the match whilst I selected Cariad Green for her outstanding performance as my player of the match - huge congratulations to them.

Year 10/11 Netball Vs Cwmbran High 27.11.18 - Our second match of the season was an improvement on the first, having got to know each other a little better on court once again all squad members who were selected for this game were given a quality amount of match time and applied themselves extremely well thorough out the duration of the game. Summer Chick was once again selected by the opposition as player of the match whilst I selected Georgia Evans for her confident performance as my player of the match - Well done girls.

Year 10/11 Netball Vs Ebbw Fawr - 05.12.18 First away game and first win of the season. The girls were well matched but came out triumphant. Teoni Mason was selected by both the opposition and myself as the star player for this fixture.

Year 7/8 Girls Football Festival Vs Ebbw Fawr and Brynmawr - This event was arranged off the back of the Regional Football tournament attended at Cwmbran Stadium earlier in the term. The schools involved were keen to provide their teams with additional football experience without the pressures of score keeping. Due to absence and illness we struggled to field a full team and borrowed players from the opposition to fulfil a round robin event. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the indoor football experience and we hope to replay the fixtures here in the new year.
